About Joshua Glenn

Hi, folks! My name is Joshua Glenn. I was born and raised in Chickamauga, Georgia. I currently reside in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee with my guitars, a cello, and all kinds of gadgets with knobs, buttons, and switches… most of which are used for making music. I love to perform live, to play guitar and to write songs. I am also a photographer, videographer, visual artist and an entrepreneur.

CNC Experts

I am the founder of CNC Experts, a company that specializes in the cnc retrofits, upgrade, and repair of cnc routers and other cnc equipment. (If you’re wondering what a cnc machine is, it is a computer-controlled machine that takes a design you create in the computer and fabricates a finished part using one of several types of cutting tools). I have had the privilege over the years of traveling to many places fixing up older machines and making them run like new. I like seeing the smile on a customer’s face when their old “piece of junk” is running like a new machine and making them money! I go home feeling pretty good after that.

The Belair Group

I started The Belair Group to encompass all of my business efforts related to what I call “creative technology services.” That includes web design and development, search engine optimization,  graphic design, business communication consulting, audio/video production, and more. Basically, anything a customer needs to help them communicate the message of their company to the outside world. Also, The Belair Group helps artists and songwriters to get their work recorded and produced in a professional and cost-effective manner.

Professional History

Beginning in 1996, when I was just out of high school, I began working for Glentek, Inc., my family’s corporation that pioneered professional-grade cnc routers at a price that people could actually afford.

While working for Glentek, I learned an awful lot about business, marketing, mechanical and electrical engineering, cnc programming, web design, customer service, and so much more. I am very thankful to my dad, Bill Glenn, for having the sense enough to “think outside the box”. He began doing something radically different than anything he had done previously, making cnc routers. As a result, a business was born that made us a modest living during those years and taught us many things. I gained much valuable experience during that time. In 2003, we sold our product line, and since then I have been staying busy with CNC Experts and The Belair Group.
